Anders' dinner plans are made easier

There are still some things missing for next weeks dinners, so Anders grabs his iPad to make a completing order. He orders a little extra as he wants to avoid additional runs to the supermarket during the coming week. He decides to have the groceries delivered to his home during the afternoon the next day.

When the order arrives at the suppliers end, driver Jenny gets to work. Using CubLink® RouteManager optimizes all the planning concerning Anders’ order - groceries are packed just right in the car, enabling for quicker handling on the road.

In the warehouse storage worker Josef starts his shift. By using CubLink® Pick&Collect he gets all the necessary information about Anders’ order. The system gives him packing instructions, letting him manage several orders in unison. This way Josef avoids detours around the warehouse and can pick more orders in less time. Josef marks the goods on Anders’ order with his mobile device and even gets suggestions as he goes along - perhaps Swedish tomatoes instead of Dutch?

Soon Jenny and her vehicle is ready for departure. CubLink® DeliveryManager updates her route in real time, taking things like heavy traffic into consideration. CubLink® DeliveryManager gives directions and when Jenny reaches her destination Anders signs off directly inside the system.

Jack can use more of the weekend

On his way out to the countryside cottage Jack stops by the local store. It’s Friday and he decides to save time by placing an order beforehand on the stores website. He checks in at one of the stores’ monitors, linked to CubLink® QueueManager. Jack is placed in line and a notification is sent to Elin who is working tonight. It tells her that Jack’s order is already packed and ready for pick-up.

When Jack has shown his receipt and gotten his groceries he continues his trip to his cottage. Elin confirms the transaction in CubLink® QueueManager and the queue is then updated, telling her that her next customer has just arrived.

The perfect jacket for Eva

Eva is browsing her favorite in-town store where she’s used to getting great service. She soon finds a nice, dark-blue jacket, but unfortunately it’s the wrong size. Eva asks sales assistant Karin at the counter about additional sizes, and Karin glances at her cell phone. Thanks to CubLink® ShopFlow Karin can tell that there’s one last jacket in Eva’s size.

Karin soon returns with the jacket. It fits perfectly and Eva asks if it also comes in black. Karin checks her cell phone which is connected to CubLink® ShopFlow and thereby to the stock of every sister-store in town. Yes, there is one such jacket in stock - but in a different store across town.

Karin suggest they order the jacket to her store, that way Eva won’t have to go pick it up. It could be delivered the next day.

CubLink® ShopFlow notifies Eva the minute her jacket arrives. Eva turns up in her new, blue jacket, completes the transaction and leaves with yet another jacket - ready to take future employers by storm.

Retail Manager Jenny goes digital without the hassle

Retail Manager Jenny knows that her brick-and-mortar stores must go digital in order to please the modern consumers. But how does one avoid the hassle with orders, picking and shipping? Not to mention all the systems that needs to work together. The solution is called CubLink® E-commerce Suite, it’s e-comm without the hassle.

When a customer makes an online order Jenny’s logistics provider is notified the second the order gets in and can start planning via CubLink® RouteManager - before the order has even been picked.

Speaking of order picking - with CubLink® Pick&Collect warehouse workers are getting busy picking several orders simultaneously thanks to the systems’ precise instructions.

When the order is ready to go the drivers’ route is updated via CubLink® DeliveryManager which discovers a traffic jam on the highway, thus changing the initial route. Upon delivery the customer signs off directly into CubLink® DeliveryManager on arrival, making it possible for Jenny to keep an eye on the overall workflow.
